Celexa is used to treat depression. Celexa is also used off-label (not approved for use for these conditions by the Food and Drug Administration, or FDA) to treat anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
